The latest spray machine to be built by Pacmatec was developed as a result of our experience over the last 15 years in coating razor blades with PTFE. The most up to date model is a continuous conveyor machine incorporating the latest technology in electrostatic spray guns which are mounted on either side of the conveyor and it is designed to use PTFE suspended in either water or Isopropanol.

Both the infeed and discharge conveyors are fitted with accurate controlled heating in order to pre-heat and dry the blades. The modular design of the infeed and discharge conveyor means that the length can be tailored to give the exact amount of pre-heating and drying of the blades to allow controlled and consistent evaporating of the water or Isopropanol in the spray chamber.

The PTFE solution is continually stirred and re-circulated to keep it in constant suspension by using pulse free peristaltic pumps.

If Isopropanol liquid is used the spray chamber can be fitted with a CO2 fire detection and extinguishing system.
